Claire Williams is the principal lawyer at Justice Crew Legal Services. Claire was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria in 2007. She now has over 10 years of legal experience in the private, community and government sectors.
Claire believes that whilst high technical standards and good preparation are essential, the practice of law should focus on people. Claire is down to earth and approachable, and will work hard to ensure the best possible results for each of her clients.
Claire has a background in disability services and is an experienced advocate for those with complex needs. She has a strong commitment to human rights, in particular children’s rights, and social justice.
Taylor graduated with a Bachelor of Laws with Honours from Victoria University in 2017. She was admitted to practice in 2018. Taylor joined Justice Crew Legal Services at the beginning of 2018 has appeared in the Magistrates Court at various locations as well as the Federal Circuit Court. Taylor continues to grow as a practitioner under the guidance of her Principal Claire Williams, with the pair enjoying a collaborative approach to their legal work.
During her studies Taylor became a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society. Further to this she was given the opportunity to facilitate and run peer assisted learning workshops for the area of Business Law.
Having grown up on the Mornington Peninsula she is involved in the community and is aware of its unique needs. She is a strong advocate for social justice and takes great pride in her work and ensuring positive outcomes for clients.
